About the Editor-in-Chief

編集長 ヴァレンティン・フスター（Valentin Fuster）, MD, PhD

Dr. Fusterは、以前the American Heart Associationの代表で、the World Heart Federationの代表にも選出された。また博士は、the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciencesとthe National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute Advisory Councilの会員であり、the Fellowship Training Directors Program of the American College of Cardiologyの会長も務めている。

Dr. Fusterが数多く受賞した賞の中には、the AHA’s Gold Heard Awardとthe ACC’s Distinguished Service Awardがあり、the AHAとthe ACCのどちらもがDr. FusterをDistinguished Scientist awardsの栄誉を称えている。ヨーロッパでは、the Andreas Gruntzig Scientific Award of the European Society of Cardiologyと、1996年のPrincipe de Asturias Award of Science and Technologyというスペイン語を話す科学者の中で最も栄誉ある賞をPrince Felipe of the Asturiasより受賞している。
